The Chambre Alpestre is the purest expression of what Maison Celeste was built to offer — a room that disappears into its landscape. Reclaimed pine walls are left unpolished, their grain running parallel to the ridgeline outside. A hand-cast iron fireplace anchors the space. The bed faces east, deliberately, so the first light falls across the duvet before anything else. Linen curtains in undyed ecru move with the mountain drafts. There are no televisions. There is a record player.
